What is Delanclip Fusion Pro?
Delanclip Fusion Pro is a complete wireless infrared head tracking kit for PC. The Fusion emitter clips to your headset, the DelanCam1 camera sits on your monitor, and the in-game view follows your head. You look around the cockpit or the cab by turning your head, while your hands stay on the stick, yoke, wheel or keyboard.
Fusion has no cable, so nothing pulls on your headset and nothing tangles when you lean or turn. That is the main difference from TrackIR’s TrackClip Pro, which is wired.
What’s in the box

A charging cable is not included. Any standard USB-A to USB-C cable and a 5 V USB port or charger will do.
Key facts
- 6DOF tracking: pitch, yaw and roll, plus movement in three axes.
- Battery: at least 24 hours of use per charge. A full charge takes about 3 hours, and you can keep playing while it charges.
- Weight: 60 g, comfortable for 8+ hour sessions.
- Camera: 60 fps, uses native Windows drivers, so there is no camera driver to install.
- Distance: about 30 cm to 2 m from the camera. For 2 to 5 m, add the Long Range Lens.
- Light: daylight and normal room lighting do not affect tracking. Keep direct sun out of the lens and other infrared sources, such as heaters or halogen lamps, out of the camera’s view.
Software and system support
Fusion Pro runs on OpenTrack, free and open-source head tracking software. Windows is fully supported and setup uses a simple installer. Fusion Pro also works on Linux and macOS, with setup guided by tutorials available on our website.

OpenTrack presents Fusion Pro to the game as a TrackIR device, so games with TrackIR support work without any NaturalPoint hardware. Popular titles include:

IR tracking or webcam face tracking?
Webcam face tracking is a free way to try head tracking. IR tracking follows three fixed points on the emitter instead of your face, so it is more precise and works the same in a dark room. A DCS player on r/hoggit compared the two. The kit does not include the face tracking lens, because IR tracking does not need it.

So, I went with the DelanClip because the Tobii tracker can only be mounted below the monitor, and it’s kinda bulky. Plus, whenever I mounted my yoke or had something in between the tracker and my head, the connection would just break. I also tried using my phone for head tracking, which was similar issue, but honestly, the DelanClip is way better for the price and performance.
With the DelanClip, I don’t have any of those issues anymore. The camera just mounts on the monitor, which is super convenient and doesn’t get in the way. One thing I really like is that I can turn the infrared lights off whenever I want, so I can toggle it on or off instantly when I need it. It’s super light, so I dont even notice it on my headset, and the camera is subtle and lightweight too. The build quality is phenomenal—it feels super sturdy and well-made. And honestly, the price is unbeatable. Overall, such a good buy—I’m really happy with it!

Great customer service. Also before buying delanclip, I’ve borrowed friends track ir5 kit, and delanclip is quite a step up from ir5, better range of motion (max angle of head) and easy tweaking via opentrack; had a lot of issues with jitter or stepped (discrete) motion using track ir software unable to fix it. Only issue I have that is specific to my setup (55 inch TV as a monitor in 1.5m or so) is FOV of the camera

Worked out of the box after following detailed and easy to understand instructions on their website for setup. Enjoyed using this product till the date!
My wireless clip’s battery died (2024). I couldn’t afford to have a replacement shipped from the UK and reached out to the company for a solution. They replied within 24 hours with detailed instructions on how I could replace it without having to resort to another week or more of a wait time and additional international shipping expenses.

I bought the Pro Version of the DelanClip and – except of a long delivery – it works as advertised Plug & Play.
Smiled ear to ear when I started DCS and after I load into a mission, I already saw the camera moving connected to my headmovement.
For a first flight, you can leave every setting as it is. Switching to dogfights, one have to adjust the sensitivity of the headturns to watch what is happening behind you. Dont forget to calibrate the tracking in the software. (HowTo’s – best on this website)
Maybe, as an idea for the future, some sort of headset mount would be perfect. I had to adjust the velcro one time, because the position wasnt ideal, so they lost grip to my headset. Everything fixed with new 3M Pads – no problem!
Maybe a mount, which sticks with 3M to the Headset (or a clip mechanism? ;D) and the possibility to click in and adjust the DelanClip would be interesting. But I understand that this is real difficult to realize because of the headset variations on the market.
So, at it is, a truly and worthy alternative to the more expensive IRTrack. 5/5!

Delanclip for the win!
I ordered the Delanclip Pro system recently, when I recommended the product. It was neatly and carefully packaged. Although the product is housed in a 3D printed shell. I found it to be nice quality and intuitive to setup. I had one issue which was the usb cable it came with did not work. Tomasz reached out to me very quickly with a positive attitude, and an eagerness to resolve the issue. He was all too happy to send me a replacement free of charge but I had an extra one. So I told him it wasn’t necessary.

Works incredibly well. I went from using AI tracker to the Delanclip, it is much smoother and precise. Very easy to use once you have it attached to your headphone and set up Opentrack.
It is better if your headphone has a flat surface on which to attach the velcro however. My DT770 has round “ears” so I had to use a small flat surface on the hoop for it to be properly attached. I just hope the velcro will not degrade too much over time but I can still buy commercially available samples if push comes to shove.

Dead easy setup, works straight out the box, was using it on MSFS within 15 minutes of opening it. Sure, you can refine the default setup curves as you wish, for extra accuracy, but it’s pretty much 99% done for you with the default setup and online guide on their website
