Hi, I’m Tom, the founder of Delan Engineering Ltd. Our journey began in May 2013, driven by a deep love for flying and simulation gaming. Let’s take a trip back to where it all started.
A Passion Takes Flight
By day, I work as a CAD engineer, but my true passion has always been flying. This love for the skies introduced me to the world of radio-controlled (RC) flying, which offers an unparalleled sense of realism and thrill. (Check out the photo below of my old RC flying team back in my home country!)
When winter evenings made RC flying impossible, I turned to Condor Soaring – The Complete Soaring Simulator. Its realism captivated me, and I couldn’t get enough of it. To enhance my experience, I discovered the magic of head tracking, and that’s when the idea for Delanclip began to take shape.
From Hobby to Business
We officially launched Delan Engineering Ltd as a small home-based business in Leicester, UK. It’s a true family effort, with just my wife and me working tirelessly to craft products that elevate the gaming experience for enthusiasts like us.
